Today we have received information through the post for 2002's Council Tax Demand. It looks like if you live in Tredegar, then you will pay the highest Council Tax in the Blaneau Gwent Area. The reason for this is, and I quote, "Because of added facilities like the bandstand".
More information to follow ......

"Little Interest in Tredegar ?"
Well we have stumbled across the web-site of Blaneau-Gwent County Council. Now far from me to cast doubt over the web-site, and it could just be me, but I think the lack of information on Tredegar (and all the other towns, apart from Ebbw-Vale) sticks out like a sore thumb. Have a look for yourself at http://www.blaenau-gwent.gov.uk/ , and let us know what you think about your Council's web-site by dropping us a line here.
Local(ish) News Stories
We have received e-mail on the vacant Tecso Building in the town. It said " It seems that CBS are not moving in to the Tesco Building in town because the owner won't clean out the asbestos". Anybody else got any news on this ?, e-mail us here.
