The BIG count down is well on the way getting nearer by the minute. No not the Olympics but the end of the world 21st December 2012. The mayan calendar ends but how will the end come?
Will the governments of the world use it to change thing for there own power like close/block the internet, disable mobile phones, use the media like sky to control us? Or will we suffer a plague, famine, no oil, a mega wave flooding the countries, or even an asteroid colliding with good old earth?
So when the end comes's will it be made by governments or by natural disaster? Looks like it could all just be down to the bankers.
So the question is will we all still be here on the 22nd December?
Don't forget the 21st December is the winter solstice

Well thats just great. I spent all year building that bl**dy bunker in the back garden and all for nothing. My tinned goods will last for years so thats not a problem but I'm sure the gas masks have a shelf life. :) |

F you're reading this then the ancient Mayan prediction that the world would end today was WRONG.
Experts found that the Mayans thought it would all be over at 11.11GMT.
But we're still here... for now.

I didn't realise the Mayan calendar was so precise. It doesn't look like it could predict to the exact minute that the world will end.

I totally agree with what you're saying GOM but for the Mayan empire to have all this advance knowledge yet still carry out human sacrifices to their Sun Gods is all alittle far fetched to me.
The economy is going to collapse as I've been saying for the last couple of years, the news keeps talking of econonim growth!!!! You can't keep having Economic growth it's already reached it's peak many years ago. We've robbed the earth of most of it's natural resources and the economy can never return to it's former glories. Juststarp in and enjoy the ride. |

Nothing gonna happen ???? never never say never, Just look at the news war, famine,natural disasters,man made disasters there all there and then there's the asteroid that has yet to be noticed that's on its way as we speak. I would think the dinosaurs thought the same thing never happen to us ---------- oops there past history and all things come in cycles.
When ( and you note I say when as it surly will) the economy fails big time it could and probably will be far worse than being wiped out by a big bang. It could cause wars on a scale never before seen. Civilian wars people fighting people.

Cyanide pills GOM much cheaper. Nothing's gonna happen, yes elite families control the World but that's about as far as this alien conspiracy bullsh*t goes. djh covering my head as we speak now with several layers of cooking foil, work well on the way with our led lined concrete blast bunker that's self sufficient for up to 2 years, (Well if ones good enough for 86yo Queenie its good enough for me). Barbed wire elec fence and fully armed watch towers also going in along with laser guided ground to air and ground to ground guided missiles ordered and awaiting delivery. APLM already in place.

They're getting ready for something, take a look at how many alien invasion, futuristic based post event and end of world type films we've had in last ten years. ian r crane was talking about this 2 years ago, an alien 'visit' during the olympics. The closing event at the beijing olympics was pre recorded and the fireworks were 'jazzed up', the people in the stadium had a display but the tv viewer had the recorded one. There is a ban At the olympics on over 30mm cameras, tripods and monopods, why?. What judder free images are they afraid you'll get?. As for nick pope, for me he's a disinformation artist. He's probably still employed by the government. By him talking about it now its in the public consciousness. So that 'when/if' anything happens your mentally prepared. Oh well, we've been told so get ready for it. |

Could a solar storm like that of 1859 become the start of the end?
IF we were to have a solar storm again of this kind or worse power would be out, no elec, no phone, no computer, maybe even your car wouldn't start again food would run out, taps would run dry.
The list of what would happen is to scary to think about, but just maybe we should start thinking about it.
