People researching thier family history often call to the vicarage asking to view parish records for St George or St James' church, and also to see the church where their relatives were married.

You are welcome to come and see the churches and I'm happy to show you around. My contact details can be found on this site, but parish records dating before 1970 have been archived, so we don't have copies of the registers in the churches.

If you are researching family records before 1900 you are likely to find births, marriages and burials recorded at St Sannan's Church, Bedwellty because St George was originally part of Bedwellty parish.
