Great news everyone! We have finally managed to secure the grants to have some much needed work done to the theatre. The work is due to begin on Monday 8th February and is expected to be finished by April. This of course means that we will not be able to stage our March play, therefore our next production will be in June. We intend to keep a record of the work being done and will be posting some photos on our site in due course. Why not follow our progress over the next couple of months and if you know any interesting stories or anecdotes relating to The Little Theatre please do get in touch and let us know.

Well the work update at the moment- old rendering has been removed and rough/scratch coat put on- now external insulation has been applied- so things are moving along nicely!

Well going by Lorna's message above they hope it will all be completed by end of April- they haven't given an exact week for completion as there's so much to be done- is plodding along nicely though!

The new signs went up today!
There is still a bit of scaffolding up as we're having lights for the signs - but progress is zooming along!

Mmmm lights for the sign, well considering you always go on about lack of funds isn't that a waste of money and electic do i have point or what.

We've had a much-needed grant - at last - for the work but we were only allowed to use it for the exterior. As you've visited the theatre you'll know how badly the outside needed repair-work and make-over! The lights are only going to be used when a performance is on so our electricity costs will be minimal.
