Not seen the outcome of that thread/news about the recent changes in street lights but I'm wondering if anyone has a contact as to who I can speak to about our street lighting.
The one outside out place goes on and off all through the night (as does many in the area it seems) and with all the car break-ins we've had here it's quite a risk having the lights doing this.
If you phone highways-streetlighting on 01495 355398 they will sort it but you will have to give them the lampost number i think it starts with b e then some numbers.hope that helps.Forgot they only open mon-fri.
Yes there is a timing fault and it's confusing the local bird population, the damn things like to land on my satellite dish at night, causing temporary loss of signal
I have noticed when I go for a stroll down James st and Walter st whenever there is a dish outside a house there is also an area of bird droppings on the pavement under the dish This is not as unsightly as dog fiecies but it can be a problem with kids playing, God help us if we have avian flu in our country.
