I remember Clubs too. 30p to go to the pictures and it was half price for children. Wow. You have to take out a mortgage to go to the cinema nowadays.
Took my two grandccildren to Cardiff pictures ,with my daughter last year ,it cost just under £20.00 .....couldn t afford the sweets and pop in there lol ....that was a first and a last
Well i now know where i was the week begining March 31st. I was at some time that week in the Workmans Hall watching Enter The Dragon as i can remember watching that and Big Boss there. Both were X rated films and me and about 5/6 friends all the same age got in to watch both films and we were only 12 at the the time but age normally didn't make any difference as they would let you in to watch anything there. The Limp were a bit more fussy about age,they would let you in one week but then turn you away the next.
That's A blast from the past I can remember going to the Olympia, with My date to see the Exorcist , I had my fathers hat and coat on and they let her in and turned me away..PPPFFFF..!!! Totally Upset....
