CCTV cameras

Criminals beware, big brother is watching you, or more likely the Police, as Cefn Golau now has five CCTV cameras. There are two in Attlee Way, one in Cripps Avenue, one in Walter Conway avenue and one in Gainsborough Road. The street lighting has also been improved to give the cameras better colour rendering and picture clarity. This scheme seems to be part of the Councils crime reduction and safer Blaenau Gwent strategy, well done Blaenau Gwent Council. Perhaps someone from Blaenau Gwent Council could tell us more about the CCTV scheme, there is a link below to the Blaenau Gwent Website news archive.
