A story
Posted by EDWARD Donelan on 11/11/2003 14:34:55
From 1952 to 1975 I lived in Tredegar. My father M.Donelan, was Medical Officer of Health. I went to school and University in Ireland and was called to the Irish Bar in 1975 and practised as a barister for five years. I was then hired by the Office of the Attorney General as a parliamentary counsel where I have drafted legislation evenr since. I have been involved in the modernsation of the Irish Civil Service and since 1999 I have been the Director of Statute Law Revision. My job is to modernise irish statute law. I have worked with various international organizations including the OECD. I have written a number of books and am married with one son. I am still interested in horses I used to ride Jack Jones' horses in Nantybuch (excuse spelling- too much Guinness!!!). I used to work with RI Davies as a courier those were the days. Love to you all in Tredegar.
