Unique Photography Services is having it’s Grand Opening day this Saturday (30/9/06) between 10am and 1pm. There will be face painting for the children and for those children who are made up, I will take and provide a complimentary 5”x 4” photograph. For the Adults, there will be drinks and snacks, and for anyone who books a studio session on the day, there will be a 25% discount.

After month's of campaigning and coverage in the
British press, labour has loss both by-elections to
independents in the south
Owen Smith, Labour: 10,059 (- 1,325)
Steffan Lewis, Plaid Cymru: 1,755 (+ 912)
Amy Kitcher, Liberal Democrat: 1,477 (-34)
Margrit Williams, Conservative: 1,013 (+197)
Alan Hope, Official Monster Raving Loony Party: 318
And the Assembly Results are:-
John Hopkins, Lab: 9,321
Steve Bard, Lib Dem:2,054
John Price, Plaid: 1,109
John Burns, Con:816
John Matthews, Green: 302

O yes, its the ol' Council Tax update. See how much the kind people of Blaenau Gwent Council will take from us all this year. Again, if you live in Tredegar, you pay more then any other area including Ebbw-Vale (and after 15 years of asking we have yet to receive an adequate answer why...).
At least look on the bright side, the council's got a new logo - which
they claim did not cost the tax payers any money.

We have been informed that the Tredegar Arms (the T.A. to you and me...) now have live entertainment every Saturday night starting with a female vocalist on the 18th feb, with disco. Wednesday night is quiz night, Thursday is pool night, Friday is karaoke with disco. They have big screen for all matches, going into Sunday night with karaoke.
