Hi all,
Your town clock is the centre of your town and a beautiful and truly unique structure. I have read thru various Welsh News Sites that it stopped working in January due to rain and has yet to be repaired. News of Wales unfortunately is extremely rare if not non existant in Australia and I was wondering if any towns folk can give me any info as to the delays in repairs... Or is it the Local Council that I read so much about in these terrifically informing forums? Thanks for your time. |

Has anybody actually seen it being repaired? If not its probably the vibrations from the off lorry going past thats sticking/ unsticking something in the mechanism ;) (I hope that doesn't give TTC the idea of just sending someone to drive past it until it works :D) |

Bet if it was one of the councilors clocks in there house it would soon have a new battery.
The TTC should be run out of town they are of no use to man nor beast, and yet we have to pay for it.
The G.O.M. sickend by these useless people.

can someone remind me who is responsible for making sure the clock is working?
whoever it is doesn't seem to be able to do it properly. is there an appraisal system in place to find out why they can't manage this task and what appropriate action should be taken?

Seemed to be working at 11.00 this morn as I went past it goodie.
The G.O.M. if it keeps working that will be one less thing to get grumpy about. have a nice day all.
