How sad to see that no one in my original lodge cares enough to make a posting. Maybe they are all too busy with their lives, maybe it's because they have let the lodge become nothing more than a drinking club and turned their backs on it original concept. If so , then God help us all, especially the little ones, so I WILL say lest the others forget " suffer little children unto me " , and I will never forget my oath.

What a superb organisation.My brother and his wife had wonderful times at the lodge .Aperfect blend of enjoyment and raising thousands for charity.Ignore the uninformed and grossly unfair criticism and continue with your valuable work.

I was asked to post this on behalf of the Moose fraternity and all the members at Tredegar Number 1 Lodge who work so hard to raise funds for the community -
The Lodge is still very much alive in Tredegar but we are actively seeking new members - and we seek to support charities our members and the community.

Also Support for the lonely at Christmas who spend the three days over the Christmas holidays in a hotel at a cost of £400 per person.
The organization also run a Vocational Guidance Course, for students of 16 to 18 years of age, all paid by the Moose Organization. This is over three days in a hotel, it consists of training in readiness for leaving School and practice at presenting themselves at interviews, and completing C. of. V. forms.
Annual five days holidays for members.
Children’s Christmas parties.
Welsh night with artists. Donations presented on this evening.
Ladies night again when donations are presented.
In our local Lodges, you will find a wide array of activities to participate in both as an individual and as a family. From holiday parties, dances, sports, themed dinners and live entertainment, the Moose has much to offer. Membership can mean different things to different people. You are the one determining what you want to get out of the organization, and what you want to give back.
The Moose is about celebrating life together, serving those in need within our local community, supporting our children and standing by our senior members.
In 1906, Moose Supreme Organizer James J. Davis sought a way to meet the needs of families who were struggling to navigate a new era. Today, Moose International seeks to do so once again. James J Davis was born in Kimberly Terrace Tredegar.
