Don't forget to feed the birds in this awful weather. I am going to try and keep an eye on our dog so she can't chase them off!

I have just filled the two feeders, the birds are emptying them every day so I'll have to go out in the snow if the weather forecast is correct, will have to stock up from home bargains, at least the cats aren't going out to bother them this cold weather

Don't put your bird feeders to close to the house, the rats love birdseed,and they particularly love fat balls.

We try to help the birds as much as possible in winter- they make the world a better place. Their favourite seed seems to be sunflower which is expensive in shops but you can get a big bag from Amazon for £14 .Ideal if you can get a friend to share the cost.
