Tredegar coronavirus testing site for Blaenau Gwent residents
Source :SouthWalesArgus

A NEW coronavirus testing station will open in Tredegar tomorrow for walk-up appointments.

Tests must be pre-booked and people are allowed to arrive on foot or by bicycle.

Testing will be done between 9am and 12.30pm every day from tomorrow (Friday) until Thursday, November 12.

You must make an appointment before attending the testing station.

Only residents of Blaenau Gwent will be accepted for tests at this site.

The testing station is located in the car park of Gwent Shopping Centre in Tredegar (NP22 3DN).

Blaenau Gwent residents who are accepted for a test must bring ID and proof of address.

Wear a face covering on the way to and from your test, and maintain social distancing.

If you have coronavirus symptoms, you and your household must self-isolate at home until you receive your result.
The swab test takes up to five minutes to complete.

To book a test, call 0300 30 31 222 for free between 8am and 8pm on weekdays, or between 8am and 6pm on weekends.

I was under the impression that whilst at a testing station you sat in the car and not allowed to get out.Makes sense to me itís a way of limiting exposure to others within the vicinity.yet our so called idiots in charge allow people who believe that they are infected with COVID to walk or cycle wherever in town .
A sure way of ensuring that our COVID infection rates go up.

Test station in Tredegar? Great! More tests = more positive results = more restrictions thrown upon us. I can't wait.

If you have symptoms it's easier to go to the nearest testing facility possible, with the numbers in Tredegar going up and being a lot more than they were in the spring it's good they have a test centre in Tredegar, just a pity it's only there for a few days, when will people understand that even if YOU only have mild symptoms YOU need to self isolate and get tested to prevent more vulnerable people getting it, overwhelming hospitals and ICU beds.

Thanks djholly, we are well. Still not wearing masks, still moving around as we like, still visiting family and friends, who wish to have us. And still no coronavirus in sight. Regards.

djholly may I suggest that you practice what you preach. Because on the 19.09.20 in the Covid-19.p2 Page number 5 you also referred to seawolf86 as seawolf (with one o).when is actual name is seawolf86.This slightly undermines your attempt to try and humiliate trish eh?

I told you once before, be kind to people because when this is all over, people will remember!!!

That ones for you trish#128514;#129395;#129488;

Thank you Fluffer for your support, my spelling is normally o.k. I realised as soon as I sent my question that I had spelt the name wrong,

It's best to be kind and don't point out spelling and grammar mistakes because you never know when you might slip up
Go on djholly you did it on purpose didn't you

ddraig, my intention was not to point out his spelling or grammar. It canít just be me who is fed up of djholly and his partner in crime constantly dumbing down the pandemic, and proudly telling everyone that I go where I want and I wonít wear a mask. This just shows what type of people they are. Selfish and irresponsible, which by the way is why we are in this position.Iím all for having your say, but there are people out there losing their lives on a daily basis, and it seems that we have bad news (locally) everyday. I have just lost a very good friend to Covid and Iím watching her family go through the grieving process and itís terrible to see. I think the time has come for them to keep their comments to themselves on the subject of Covid. Stop for a minute and think of the families who have lost their loved ones, because their comments about Covid does not help them through their pain.

Sorry. I'm not a socialist. I'm not going to limit my personal freedom, cause some paranoid people around think it might kill them.

As to Prasident Donald Trump, no, we not related, although I respect the man and think highly of him.

Fluffer my point wasn't aimed at you, it was aimed at djholly and his remark to trish, I agree with you totally, I'm surprised at the number of people who have no conscience and no thought for other people, they get their news, probably from youtube as they think the mainstream news channels are biased and commit themselves to any number of conspiracy sites they can find, the QAnon one had me shaking my head in disbelief.
seawolf86 (let's hope someone or thing limits his personal freedom soon) and his ridiculous posts, seem to make bullets for other people to fire, reminds me of another....long gone....

first off, you joined this forum in 2012 (according to the fluffer name you use) so that's 3 1/2 posts a year?, yet i've been the recipient of at least (by average) this years allocation. which is fine. smoking related illness KILLS 1900 people every week of every month in the UK. why no smoking bans?. 80% vat maybe?. enjoy your sunday, i'm about to start a AKIRA KUROSAWA afternoon of movies. take care.
