"The man in the bowler hat is almost certainly William Morgan of Bridge Street, the manager of the rolling mill as the photo was found in his granddaughter's possessions.He was my wife's great grandfather, married the daughter of the works manager, Mr Davies in Zebo Chapel,EbbwVale. William was born in the tiny village of Llanddeusant Carmarthenshire."

What a wonderful photo. I obviously would not have known William Morgan, but what a coincidence that Tom Baxter also lived in Bridge street, and he was a well respected foreman in the hot mill.
A great pic of Tredegar Iron Works. When I worked (fairly briefly) at RTB Tom was a foreman in the Bessemer steelmaking. He probably spent almost all his working life in RTB so would have worked in many departments
