Very sad to announce the passing of Jennifer Williams. A very smart, intelligent lady who used to teach in Earl street and Deighton school. An avid reader who wouldn't leave the house without 20 books in her bag ( just in case ). She will be sorely missed by everyone who knew her. RIP Jen x

Very sorry to hear about Jennifer. Rose taught with her for many years and has many fond memories of her. Not only was she an avid reader but also produced fantastic knitting. She introduced hundreds of children to the joys of reading. After retiring she worked in the book shop in town for several years. She was a really lovely lady. When she moved from Queen Street she returned to Earl Street school site and lived at Ty Scott.
