Can't see from scan if you have Powell's History of Tredegar, there's also Tredegar's Part in World War 2.

Memories are made of these.....

I don't have an historic book ABOUT Tredegar, but I do have one FROM Tredegar. It's called "Aunt Mildred's Treasure" and bears the inscription on the flyleaf, in beautiful copperplate, "Presented to May Harries from the Primitive Methodist Sunday School, Commercial Street, Tredegar. February 1903."

Interesting stuff you say.....

Would this qualify?

Glass paperweight circa 1930's. (?)

Inscription reads: War Memorial - Bedwellty Park, Tredegar.

Shown at approximate actual size.

Pierre are you planning to scan the contents of the books for all to see? Or is that too a big job? It would be very interesting if it could be done though!

copyright would prevent that. although if the author died long enough ago it would be ok.
