Make A Date To Improve Our Town Centres.
Source - WalesOnline.

BLAENAU Gwent Council’s town centre managers want your views about the town centres and how they could be improved at a series of drop-in sessions.

The town centre manager for Ebbw Vale and Tredegar is Bethan Cartwright and for Abertillery, Blaina and Brynmawr it is Karin Lamb.

They want to listen to what local people have to say about Abertillery, Blaina, Brynmawr, Ebbw Vale and Tredegar and about any developments in the towns, any queries or concerns they may have and any comments on how the areas could be improved.

The new drop-in to talk to the town centre managers sessions will initially run until Christmas.
“We want to be as accessible to businesses and local people as possible, which is why we are establishing this new service,” said Bethan.
“Karin and myself are keen to gain more feedback from users of the towns in order to help them create better, more vibrant and sustainable town centres.”

The drop-in sessions take place at the following times and locations:

Have Your Say In Plan Strategy
i Source - WalesOnline /i

HAVE you wondered how locations for new housing development, employment sites and other projects are chosen in Blaenau Gwent?

Well here’s your opportunity to get involved and give your views by attending a drop-in session.
Blaenau Gwent Council is currently preparing a Local Development Plan (LDP). This is the plan that will be used to guide developments within the county borough over the next 15 years.
Before a detailed plan is prepared, the Council is publishing a Preferred Strategy that sets out the vision, objectives and preferred options for the development of the whole area.
What’s in Blaenau Gwent’s Preferred Strategy? It covers a wide range of issues including: employment, housing and transport.
Coun Don Wilcox, Blaenau Gwent Council’s Executive Member for Regeneration and Transport, said: “I would urge local people to get involved and let us know their views on the strategy for our area. This is an opportunity for everyone to influence the future development of Blaenau Gwent for the years ahead.”
Six weeks of consultation on the Blaenau Gwent Preferred Strategy are now underway.

Drop in sessions will be held in the following venues at these dates and times:
